SPARK - Personalized Productivity Booster
Android | Lifestyle | Beta [Int] | Personal Use (In-Use) | English
Intended to light up your day with tailored advice and insights, Spark is your morning partner. Set goals and respond to questions about your hobbies, energy, and general mood to get your morning started. Spark examines your answers and presents your persona along with mood-enhancing music playlists, book recommendations tailored to your interests, interesting movie and TV show selections, the most recent weather information, and an organized to-do list. Incorporate Spark with your Google/Outlook calendar and sleep tracker to get a comprehensive picture of your wellbeing.
Spark tracks the duration and quality of your sleep. It then proceeds to asks the user fourteen (14) questions on the quality of sleep and others based on the tasks scheduled on the user's Google and default calendar. This tracking enables spark to analyze and optimally deliver proper content and information to the user at the start of the day. At the end of the day, Spark asks twenty (20) questions on how your day went, what you did, and consumed amongst others. While the Spark app optimizes information and content delivery to the user, the user has various preference customization available like mood-based adjustments and reflection preferences at the end of the day.
Spark uses an AI powered algorithm that continuously learns from the user's behavior and information input. Spark analyzes the recorded morning and evening questions, sleep patterns (time, duration, and quality), tasks prioritizations and completions in the day. It is able to be integrated with the user's default, Google, Outlook, and Notion Calendar. At its core, Spark's use has always been to enhance the user's mood by suggesting content based on the user's emotional state to improve their well-being. The app also uses real-time weather integration in order to suggest outdoor activities. Lastly, Spark is designed to work with voice commands, making it easy for the user to interact with the app while doing work, exercising, or other activities, hands free.
Beyond vision, the base app has already branched into different projects with vast applications, and are currently in rapid development adding more unique features for wider reach and use.Playstore or Appstore releases? Yes, Absolutely. When? Soon. đźŚ
SAMBAHAYAN- Barangay Mass Notification System
Windows | Utility | Alpha [Ext] | Public Use | English and Filipino
Sambahayan is a desktop and mobile app designed to safeguard barangay residents from natural disasters and aid them in medical emergencies and house fires. Initially created to monitor water levels in local channels and rivers that could cause flooding, Sambahayan has evolved into a comprehensive community safety platform. The app incorporates a Barangay Population Database, enabling swift dissemination of vital information such as reminders and alerts to residents. These notifications cover a wide range of events, including but not limited to: extreme weather conditions, natural disasters, internet outages, electrical blackouts, and water supply disruptions. Sambahayan's proactive approach to communication empowers residents with timely information, ensuring their preparedness and safety in times of crisis.
Sambahayan was tailored to a dense Barangay in Quezon City prone to extreme flooding and other disasters. The officials were trying to find ways to mitigate the effects and potential casualties from such disasters. Which is why I pitched an idea that would require lesser amount of investment. It is not without its challenges of course, as dense barangays in the metro (as per my observation) usually means lower household income. Thereby making many incapable of purchasing smartphones or other gadgets for the app to be used. Which is why a database system was integrated in order to be more inclusive for those who are using basic phones get the information that they need in cases of disasters.Post-pitch, I hated the concept as while it does help a specific community its like a rip-off of Project NOAH app by the DOST. I figured later on that I can play with the features to further widen its use and deliver more useful and relevant information to the people.
Beyond vision of safer and more resilient communities. I am already cooperating with other public and private institutions on the integrations of the other unique features and uses of both the desktop and mobile application. Like the application above, the base app has already branched out with its own specific usage and unique features. It will take more time to further develop the app(s) and its viability and usage on certain areas. With swift cooperation I believe that the branches of this app will be used by the Metro some time in the (near) future.
BATHALA - Filipiniana Digital Archive System
Web Application | Education | Beta [Int] | Personal (In-Use) | English
Bathala is a web application and database that provides seamless access to my curated Filipiniana book collection, complete with personal annotations, notes, and supplementary materials. As an extension of the Aquinas Mega DB—an extensive system I developed in 2021 to manage my personal digital and home library—Bathala offers a focused exploration of Philippine history, culture, and literature. Designed to navigate through a wealth of resources with ease, Bathala serves as both a research tool and a digital archive, reflecting my dedication on studying the richness of Filipiniana heritage.
The Bathala Web App contains scanned copies of my physical Filipiniana book collection. While I do not always scan my books for digital reading, I have opted to scan this specific genre for further research and study of topics, and also because this genre holds the oldest and most valuable pieces in my collection. Despite having about three-thousand (3,000+) other books (mostly references).Since Bathala contains the full metadata of the materials it can easily sort out and filter content based on the user's preference and relevance. Since I have already read and studied all of the materials (with two specific branches in depth) the annotations are also considered when generating outputs as previous written data may have already been corrected or revised by other authors, recent studies, or by personal research.
Bathala's feature to annotate books and documents seamlessly within the database itself while making those annotations searchable allows users to not only search content within the books but also in their own notes. Furthermore, the hyperlink feature of the app enables dynamic and faster fact checking and cross referencing of interconnected ideas from one reference to another in the hierarchy and preference for which they belong.
Beyond vision, I have already communicated this idea with a high-ranking official of a tech company based in Switzerland that I have met due to our shared interests in history, and the idea was met with excitement and approval. Although I cannot publicly share the database as the issues of copyright of the contents may arise, I am willing to cooperate with the institutions for which this application would be of great benefit and so that they may also help refine the algorithm and content delivery of the application suitable for wide public usage and consumption. At present, I have plans to disseminate a very limited amount of scaled-down models of this application to selected public school (Phil. History) teachers by 2025 that they may be able to better deliver the lessons and get more valuable supplementary materials as aid.
SPARK+ - Productivity Booster System
Web Application | Education | Beta [Int] | Personal (In-Use) | English
Spark+ is an extension of the base Spark application. Spark+ takes into account the data collected by the base app and uses it to adjust home and physical gadgets to further complement the use of the Spark app. Spark+ connects to home gadgets such as speakers and lightings allowing real-time adjustments on your environment without having the need to control each gadget individually.
Spark+ is an efficient and helpful assistant from day to night. Based on Spark's analytics, Spark+ can properly and gradually control indoor lighting and the volume of speakers allowing for a more gradual wake time at morning. Due to its connectivity with the Spark app, it can do real-time adjustments on your home gadgets based on your mood and what you are aiming to do within the day. At night, the Spark+ sets a wind-down routine including lighting adjustments, music play, and temperature control, in order to prepare the user for quality sleep.
Beyond vision, Spark+ is just one of the basic stems from the Spark application that can be further improved for efficient and wider consumption. At present, another project branched out from this system that can be applied on educational and physical activities spaces. Although further research is required, the system is set to make a public release on November of 2025 (or earlier).
